SatelliteQuoter terms of service

Agreement

These terms govern your use of SatelliteQuoter (the "Service"), operated by Watts Software Inc.. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Payments are processed by Polar Software Inc. as merchant of record, whose terms also apply to your purchase.

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Deleting your account cancels an active subscription in the same way.

Prices may change; we will tell you before a change applies to your subscription. For refund requests contact support@satellitequoter.com.

Measurements and estimates

SatelliteQuoter calculates areas from shapes drawn on satellite imagery. Imagery can be out of date, low resolution, or hide edges under trees and shadows, so every measurement and price is an estimate. Confirm measurements on site before you order material or commit to a price.

You set your own rates and decide what you quote. Quotes you send are between you and your customer; Watts Software Inc. is not a party to them and is not responsible for pricing, the work, or disputes about either.

Website widget

If you embed the quote widget on your website, you are responsible for the estimates it shows (they use your saved rates), for responding to the requests you receive, and for handling homeowners' details lawfully, including any notice your local privacy law requires on your website.

The widget stops accepting requests if your Pro plan ends.

Starter passes

A Starter pass is a one-time payment that gives you everything in the Starter plan for 3 days from when the payment is confirmed. It does not renew. Buying another pass while one is active adds 3 days to it. When a pass ends, your quotes stay in your account but the customer copy and PDF are locked again until you have a plan or a new pass.

Map imagery

Satellite imagery is provided by Esri and its data providers under licence. You may use it within the Service and on the quotes it produces, with the attribution shown, but not copy, download or redistribute the imagery itself.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to access other people's data, no interfering with or overloading the Service, and no automated access except through features we provide for it.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into the Service. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the Service for you.

Availability and changes

The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Watts Software Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes to these terms
