Frequently asked questions
What is a trigger depth?
The snowfall depth (often 2 inches) at which you'll plow. Below it, no visit and no charge on per-push contracts.
Should I charge per push or seasonal?
Seasonal gives you predictable cash flow and the customer a fixed bill; per push is fairer in light winters. Many operators offer both and let the customer choose.
How do you price per inch?
Set a base price at your trigger band (say 2–4 in) and step up for deeper storms, e.g. 1.5× for 4–8 in and 2× for 8–12 in.
